I have this idea… You know how there is lots of breaking news things on twitter? @BreakingNews, @CNN and on and on and a zillion hash tags. I was thinking that it might be cool to have @LostInShuffle. These would be the ‘not necessarily front page’ news. The stories that were forced off the front page by breaking news.

How many great stories were lost in the last week because we were all focused on the Swine Flu? I’m not saying that news isn’t important but don’t you feel like you are missing things? I think that is the great thing about Twitter, people tell me stuff I would other wise miss. So this would be an aggregator for those things.

The trick will be finding those links. It’s easy to aggregate headlines, harder to find the stories before they become headlines. Probably need some method of allowing multiple authors that A. aren’t going to spam the system with their own Social Media agenda and B. are good and spotting news and trends.

I’d be interested in your thoughts on this and if you are technical, ideas on implementation.
